Common Questions
Yes. Every estimate is a free, no-obligation on-site walkthrough. We'll look at your slab, talk through your goals, and can usually give you a firm number before we leave.
Cost depends on square footage, the current condition of your slab, and which system you choose (flake, quartz, solid color, or metallic). There's no accurate way to quote a floor sight-unseen, which is why the walkthrough is free.
Most residential garages are installed in 1 day, from diamond grinding to the final topcoat. Larger industrial and commercial floors are scoped individually based on square footage and your operating schedule.
Most floors are ready for light foot traffic in about 24 hours and full vehicle traffic in 48 hours. Cure times can vary slightly depending on temperature and humidity. We'll give you a care guide after install to make sure your investment is protected.
Yes. Every install is backed by our 10-year limited warranty. If an issue ever stems from our product or workmanship, our team will step in and make it right.
Our warranty covers our product and workmanship. Cracking caused by slab movement or settling that's already present, or that happens after installation, isn't something a surface coating can prevent, but we inspect your slab during the estimate and flag any concerns up front.
No. Every system we install includes a texture or slip-resistant additive engineered into the topcoat, so you get a durable, easy-to-clean finish without sacrificing traction.
Yes. Our high-solids resins are engineered for performance in extreme conditions, including Chicagoland's freeze-thaw winters, so we install year-round in both of our service regions.
Yes, the floor needs to be clear of vehicles, storage, and any parked items before we arrive. We'll send you a simple prep checklist as soon as your job is scheduled.
Yes. Your floor doesn't have to look like everyone else's. We can customize your blend colors and flake sizes, or add a custom logo or design that showcases your lifestyle or hobbies.
Yes. We inspect your slab, repair cracks and uneven spots, check for moisture, and remove any old or failing coating. That prep gives the new system a strong bond, so your floor lasts.
Our prep work is done with diamond grinders paired with HEPA-filter vacuums to keep dust contained, and our coatings are low-odor. We ventilate the space properly throughout application and cure.
Not necessarily, as long as our crew has access to the space. We're happy to coordinate access ahead of time so you don't have to take the day off.
Day to day, a dust mop or broom is all it needs. For a deeper clean, an occasional mop with mild soap and warm water keeps it looking new. Avoid harsh solvents or acid-based cleaners, they aren't necessary and can dull the finish over time.
Our team stays available after the job is done. If something doesn't look or feel right, reach out and we'll make it right, that's what our 10-year limited warranty is there for.
